It is a moment of celebration and great joy after giving birth. The woman can be called a mother and this is a very happy moment for both the partners. However, it is very disappointing for the woman if she gets an extended stomach after giving birth and losing the perfect shape before the child was born. She doesn't need to worry about it as there are a few good tips to regain the old beautiful shape she had before. This requires some exercises and a healthy diet.

Most women put on a lot of weight during pregnancy because there are a lot of hormonal changes and the fetus is developing as well. The belly gets bigger so that the fetus can be accommodated and also the womb. After giving birth, some women might still have a large belly and many people think that the woman is still pregnant, where as some women's belly goes in, but leaves stretched marks on it, which is very unattractive.

There are three good ways to lose the belly. These include exercising, eating non fatty food and breast feeding. Yes, breast feeding makes the mother lose weight. Usually, it takes a bit of time before the stretch marks that are left behind, but it is important to keep in mind if no exercise is done and fatty foods are not avoided, these stretch marks can become permanent and will stay for the rest of the life.

Most women lose hope of reducing their belly size after giving birth. It is important to realize that the belly will not disappear overnight; it can take a little bit of time. There are kinds of fats which cause the belly to come out. One of them is omentum and the other one is known as subcutaneous fats.

Omentum fats are usually present in the heart and kidneys; they can be easily reduced by exercising and eating foods with no fat or eating very little fatty food. Subcutaneous fats are present under the skin, which is quite hard to get rid of even after exercising or stopping fatty foods, it does, however, help a lot in the long run.

Some women might have a hard time getting rid of the extra belly fat. The trick here is to have patience. This can require time. It is important to strictly follow the diet plan and exercise regularly. Sometimes it is easy to get carried away and stop exercising and eating non fatty foods, especially if the person loves to go to parties. In parties it is usually hard to avoid such food as there are a lot of friends and they could urge the person to eat fatty food. If there is the need to eat such food, it should be limited and the person should make sure that exercise is not left behind so that the extra calories that have gotten into the body can be burnt quickly.

The belly is stretched for nine months before giving birth, and it almost usually takes the same time to go back in.
